Peptide Freeze Dried Powder FAQ
Practical answers about cosmetic ingredients, MOQ, samples, storage and private-label development.
What is peptide freeze dried powder?
It is a peptide-containing material dried from a frozen state. Freeze dried and lyophilized describe the same process. The final powder may contain only the specified ingredient or may also contain agreed excipients.
What makes a peptide cosmetic grade?
Suitability comes from the exact identity, composition, quality specification, intended cosmetic application and target-market requirements. A grade label or purity percentage alone is not a complete assessment.
What is the MOQ for peptide freeze dried powder?
MOQ is quotation-specific and depends on ingredient identity, available batch size, custom processing and packaging. Send the desired quantity and format to request an appropriate starting point.
Can I request a sample before ordering in bulk?
Yes. Share the ingredient, evaluation quantity, application and country. Availability, cost and sample lead time are confirmed after specification review.
Can you make private-label peptide vials?
Discuss a cosmetic vial project with your desired content, total fill, vial size, closure and artwork. A sample and approved specification are needed before commercial production.
Is 99% purity the same as 99% peptide content?
No. Chromatographic purity and net peptide content describe different measurements. Ask which analytical method and calculation basis support each value.
Which documents should accompany a quotation?
Request the current specification, available COA, TDS and SDS/MSDS. Additional analytical data, origin information and destination-specific documents should be agreed in advance.
How should lyophilized peptides be stored?
Use the batch label and TDS as the controlling instructions. Keep containers sealed and protect the material from moisture, unsuitable temperatures and light. Storage is ingredient-specific.
What is the shelf life of freeze-dried peptide powder?
Shelf life must be supported for the particular composition, container and storage conditions. There is no single expiry period that applies to every lyophilized peptide.
Can powder be mixed directly into a serum?
Only after a formulation review. Evaluate solubility, carrier, pH, ingredient compatibility and processing conditions. A small compatibility sample helps define the appropriate addition method.
Can I choose 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg, 50 mg or 100 mg vial fills?
These may be discussed as target fill weights. Feasibility depends on the composition, content, cake structure and equipment. Specify total fill separately from peptide content.
Can you develop a custom multi-peptide blend?
Submit each intended ingredient, target ratio and cosmetic application. Composition, excipients, analytical criteria and stability expectations need to be reviewed together.
Are GHK-Cu and Copper Tripeptide-1 the same enquiry target?
These names are commonly used for the copper peptide ingredient, but the supplier specification should confirm the exact complex, composition and analytical identity.
Do you sell branded Argireline, Matrixyl or SYN-AKE ingredients?
Brand terms in educational content help explain ingredient naming. They do not establish that a listed raw material is an authorised branded product. Request explicit supply and brand documentation if a proprietary ingredient is required.
Can a certificate prove a finished formula will work?
A quality-system certificate and a batch COA address different questions. Neither alone demonstrates the cosmetic performance, compatibility or shelf life of a finished product.
Can you support bulk cosmetic peptide sourcing?
Send the exact ingredient identity, acceptance criteria, pack size, forecast and destination. The quotation will define availability, MOQ, price basis and supporting documents.
What should I include in an OEM project brief?
Include the product concept, target market, ingredient or blend, content, fill format, quantity, packaging, sample requirements and expected schedule.
How long does an OEM peptide project take?
Timing depends on formulation work, sampling, approvals, packaging procurement and batch scheduling. Request separate estimates for sample development and commercial production.
Can you help with artwork and packaging?
Packaging specifications and artwork requirements can be included in the project brief. Confirm the approved INCI text, fill description, lot coding and market-specific label requirements before printing.
Will a shipment need temperature control?
The shipping plan should follow product-specific stability information, route and transit duration. Do not infer transport conditions solely from the word lyophilized.
What happens if a vial looks different from the sample?
Record the lot, label, storage history and photographs, then contact the supplier before use. Cake shape alone does not determine peptide identity or analytical quality.
Can I request HPLC or mass spectrometry data?
Include those requirements in the initial brief. Confirm the scope, method and availability of each analysis for the exact material and batch.
What is the difference between a powder and a vial kit?
Powder describes the material form. A vial kit also defines fill quantity, container, closure, presentation pack and any companion component. Each element needs an agreed specification.
How do I send a project enquiry?
Use the contact form, email info@hytanbio.com or message WhatsApp +852 6240 8962. Include the ingredient, desired format, quantity and country.
